What is the LSE SU Hayek Society?
LSE SU Hayek Society was founded in 1995 by Allister Heath (current Editor-in-Chief at the Sunday Telegraph) to promote Liberal Values at the LSE. We host numerous talks with academics, think-tankers, politicians, businesspeople, and others. We also host dinners, socials, and the Ama-Gi Journal.

“The history of freedom in twentieth-century England has been the history of the LSE”.
- Professor David Starkey, CBE
Our mantra is that of the LSE’s: For The Betterment of Society.
Following in the footsteps of LSE Fellows, Faculty, and Alumni, we champion freedom, autonomy, and empiricism.
Our goal is simple: to promote liberty and wealth-creating ideas at the LSE and beyond, as well as promoting our members to excel in their careers with a network of like-minded, liberty-loving individuals.
